On any given Sunday, some 1200-1400 people attend morning services at Brushy Creek Baptist Church Taylors.  While most of those participating in worship and praise are church members, many are not – and that’s fine.  We welcome anyone to visit with us for as long as they would like.

If you are ready to officially join Brushy Creek, it’s quite simple.  At the end of our services we hold what we call an “invitation.”  As the congregation stands and sings, anyone can walk down the aisle to church staff waiting at the front of the worship center and say they would like to join the church.  Many of those hoping to join the church will tell the staff member they believe in God and His Son Jesus and they would like to be baptized at a later date.  Others who wish to join are members at another church.  They tell the staff member they would like to transfer their “letter of membership,” to BCBC.

After you have expressed a desire to join, you will be scheduled to attend the Discover Class. This is a one-time class that explains Brushy Creek Baptist's mission (Rescue, Grow, Serve), the responsibility of its members in accomplishing this mission, and the opportunities that are available to members.

If you are unsure of how to become a member, or would like to learn more about how you can join, or get baptized, our staff would love to meet with you.  Please click here.
