What We Believe

 

            In the simplest of terms, Brushy Creek Baptist Church believes Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  He came to earth and died on the cross for our sins.  If you believe in God and his son, Jesus, and ask forgiveness for your sins, you can live forever in Heaven. 

 

            Our church mission statement reflects how this belief applies to members' lives.  It states, “We exist in order to worship God.  We desire to become more like Jesus Christ and to encourage others in that pursuit.  We want to bring Jesus Christ to Greenville and the world with wholehearted devotion.”
