 “I honestly believe that my finding Brushy Creek was an answer to prayer. I prayed when I first moved to Greenville back on 05' that God would allow me to find a church group who loved and served God. I feel weird even referring to "the college group" because the people there are more than just a church group, they are all my best friends and I don't know what I would do without them. Growing up I always had friends but I don't think I ever had true friends until I came here. I feel like I have grown more in Christ these past few years than all my years before combined and I know that God has used my church and my friends there to help accomplish that.”  Katie Grooms

Brushy Creek’s On the Road College & Career Ministry recognizes the many challenges and options college students and young professionals face today. Some members are far from home, others are under pressure to make their grades, or support themselves for the first time. No doubt, there are many other “entertainment” opportunities pulling at the few hours of free time you have away from studies and jobs.  So Brushy Creek Baptist Church tries to maximize every On the Road program, focusing on fellowship, fun and God. In addition, it wasn’t that long ago College & Career Minister Angela Carter was in the classroom herself.  She brings a great deal of insight, understanding and energy to On the Road programs and events.  Well over 100 men and women from more than a dozen different colleges enjoy coming together at Brushy Creek Baptist Church. No matter where you study, whether you’re living at home, or away from home, we’re sure you’ll feel at home at Brushy Creek.
