Mission Projects
For centuries, women have formed the backbone of many of Brushy Creek’s mission projects. We have dozens of trips and projects to get involved with, however, some are especially built with components for women. Are you willing to help others? Do you want to make your community and our earth a little bit better than you found it? Do you willing to reach out and help other women and children improve their living situations? Do you want to spread God’s word?
If you answered yes to any of the above, consider the following mission and service opportunities. An easy entry point to missions is helping with our Vacation Bible School during the summer. Here you’ll be working with dozens of other parents to teach children about God in a fun, lose and casual environment. Two other opportunities to work with children include our afterschool Good News Clubs, or our Kid’s Club at Howell Commons. If you prefer one-on-one relationships and mentoring other women, we have our Kairos & Kairos Outside program working with those behind bars, or the Christian Women’s Job Corps of Greenville County, helping women in poverty move to self-sufficiency.
