DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K)
New classe schedule TBD

For more than 10 years, BCBC has hosted DivorceCare, helping hundreds of husbands and wives move with grace and healing through the break-up of a marriage. We are now excited to announce the start of DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K). This new program is built to guide children through the emotional maze of their parents separation and divorce. Studies are only now showing the short and long-term effects a divorce can have on children, whose scars can remain hidden for many years.
Through games, crafts, activities, workbooks, music and DVD dramas, children learn they are not alone in their feelings. Experts will walk them through sessions that include, “What’s Happening to My Family,” “Facing My Anger,” “It’s Not My Fault,” “Foregiveness,” and “Loving My Parents.” DC4K is structured so children will feel comfortable with instructors and other kids going through the same experience.
Parents will receive a weekly Parents Page that includes tips to strengthen the parent-child relationship. If parents want, they can attend DivorceCare for adults, that will be running simultaneously at BCBC. You do not have to be a member of BCBC to attend DC4K or DivorceCare.
DC4K and DivorceCare gathers on Sundays from 4-6pm at BCBC. The non-denominational class runs in 14 week cycles.
