BCBC is gearing up to build our 10th home! Just think nine families now have a better footing in life thanks to a handful of us giving a few hours of our time. Won’t you help a 10th family find a warm and secure place to call home?
This year’s build will be part of a Habitat for Humanity blitz of 6 homes going up in the West End, near the baseball stadium, September 8-20. Last year, thousands of members and guests attended dozens of classes at The Greenhouse on Wednesday nights. The popular program is set to return on September 3, with 6-week long sessions that will run throughout the school year. The schedule is packed with unique offerings including Angela’s Book Club, God’s “Green” Earth, Building a Better Marriage and a Q&A panel class on Parenting Practices.

Remember childhood days of the old county fair? We’ll we’re bringing it back Wednesday, August 27, with our Fun Fest from 6-8pm. Come enjoy the midway games, entertainment, cotton candy, pie eating contests, 3-legged races, live music and did we mention the free hot dog supper! Remember, you need to be registered for the free hot dog supper!
