Welcome Dr. Jeremy Roberts

New Lead Pastor

Dr. Jeremy Roberts couldn’t be more excited about serving as Lead Pastor at Brushy Creek, praising members' friendliness and focus on bringing God to Greenville, and the world. The high-energy pastor has spent the last five and one half years in Chattanooga, where he ushered Church of the Highlands from a dead downtown campus, to a thriving suburban ministry. The church has tripled in size, to reach those in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.

Pastor Jeremy is a native Texan, where he grew up in Plano prior to attending Liberty University. He currently holds four degrees from Liberty and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and has  worked alongside former Southern Baptist Convention Presidents Dr. Ronnie Floyd and Dr. Jack Graham. To grow the kingdom of God, Jeremy frequently blogs, writes books and hosts podcasts.

The Roberts Family

Pastor Jeremy and his wife Charity have been married eleven years. Disney fanatics, he proposed to her with a glass slipper in front of Cinderella's Castle. Their two girls, Autumn (6) and Lily (3) love Minnie Mouse and Jesus! After visiting Brushy Creek, the girls are very excited to make friends at Creekside Kids.

prayer requests

Dr. Jeremy Roberts will start at Brushy Creek November 6, 2017.

God has already blessed us in so many ways. As we prepare for this new era in church history, we ask for all to lift up Brushy Creek and Pastor Jeremy. Together, may we successfully continue down the path our ancestors paved more than two centuries ago. Please pray for Greenville and The Upstate. May both embrace our new Lead Pastor and the many exciting projects he hopes to develop, to introduce Jesus to the lost. Please pray for the Roberts family as they adjust to a new home, and pray for the home they're leaving at Church of the Highlands in Tennessee.  May God send the right man to pick up the mission Jeremy started in the Chattanooga hills.

Words of Praise for Dr. Roberts

Jeremy & Jonah

Pastor Jeremy has preached from the book of Jonah so much, he rarely references his notes.  Check out the engaging sermon he gave at Brushy Creek when visiting on Oct. 1.  Can't wait to hear more of his teachings starting Nov. 12, and his Christmas series that will begin Nov. 26.
