  • Benji Ladd - executive Pastor

    Benji stepped up to the Executive Pastor position after serving as BCBC's youth pastor for six years. His knack for numbers, logistics and processes have made him a natural in guiding our staff, volunteers and deacons. Benji also co-leads BCBC ManChurch. A Georgia native, Benji attended North Greenville University, and graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. He and his wife have three children who are active in Creekside Kids. During what little free-time he can find, Benji loves to hunt, and attend, watch, or talk college football.   • Robbie Sox - Music & Senior Adult Ministries

    Robbie is Mr. Personality and our longest-serving minister, having worked at BCBC for almost 25 years. In addition to his musical duties, Robbie co-leads BCBC ManChurch. The talented tenor attended Baptist College of Charleston and graduated with an MCM from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Christine enjoy spending time with their five grandchildren. Robbie’s hobbies include fishing, reading, golf and yardwork.  Email Robbie

  • Angela Carter - Adult Education & Women's Ministries

    Angela is the creative spark-plug on staff, bringing unique vision and flair to every project she touches. She grew up at Brushy Creek with her father as pastor. After earning a teaching degree from Clemson University, and an MA in Christian Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Angela started working for BCBC in 2001. When free, Angela loves exploring new places with her black lab Roxy, and escaping to Disney with her niece Scout.  Email Angela. 

  • Jeremiah Oliver - Student & Teen Recovery Ministries

    This father of two wears his heart on his sleeve for students. Jeremiah has led various elements of our middle and high school ministries for the past 14 years. The high-energy pastor graduated from Riverside High, and then attended Liberty University and earned a Master of Arts and Religion degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. His wife, Kelli, frequently chaperones student events. When not hosting bonfires and game nights for our teens, Jeremiah enjoys restoring Italian sports cars, including Fiat Spiders.  Email Jeremiah. 

  • Jim Russell - Missions, Outreach & Adult Recovery

    No doubt about it, Jim is our world  traveler with a passport to prove his heart for missions. He’s pastored churches in North Carolina and served as a missionary in Japan for more than a decade. Jim joined BCBC in 2009 and has spearheaded Celebrate Recovery and other large-scale programs. He holds degrees from Appalachian State, Gardner-Webb University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife have four children and 11 grandchildren. Join Jim for lunch, and he’ll show you the best Japanese restaurants in town. Email Jim. 

  • Lizzi-beth Spence - Creekside Kids

    Lizzi-beth oversees the fastest growing ministry at Brushy Creek, our children’s ministry. Since starting here in 2012, Lizzi-beth has brought a new name, look and energy to Creekside Kids… and families love it! Lizzi-beth is a proud Clemson Tiger, and earned her Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She enjoys cooking for her family, and working on Pinterest projects with her two daughters. Email Lizzi-Beth.

  • Sheree Bagley - Creekside Kids Preschool

    Sheree is the most-recent, full-time hire on our staff, after having served within Creekside Kids for 13 years in various capacities. Originally from Charlotte, NC, Sheree and her husband of 25+ years have two grown children. When asked what’s unique about BCBC, Sheree explains, “In appearance we look like a ‘big’ church, but once you come in, you see that we are a family.”  Email Sheree.
