Dr. Cory Horton - Senior Pastor

Growing up the son of a pastor, Cory's life has centered around the church. Raised in Montevallo, Alabama, Cory accepted Christ at age 9, and felt the call to ministry at age 16. He met his wife Wendy at church camp in 7th grade. They've been married for more than 20 years and have three children. Pastor Cory attended Jacksonville State University, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He joins Brushy Creek after serving more than a decade at a church in Alabama.
